Good brands of Dashi?

Can anyone suggest some good brands of dashi available in Japan? ThanxGood brands of Dashi?
When I was a chef and worked for a Canadian Hotels chain back in the 1980's and was in Japan for 14 months in Tokyo, I found a number of dried and packages products, most Japanese will make it from scratch with the bonito flakes, kombu seaweed, saki, and a bit of soya sauce for flavour, but there are instant products in package that are not bad.

Most grocery store I went into had the packages in the same area as the ramen, soba and udon noodle soup products, but it also depend on whether it is a small corner shop or the Mega stores.
