I wanted to make miso soup, but could not find bonito flakes, so bought ready made bottled dashi. I made the soup and tasted it and it tasted horrible. The smell was so bad I am still gagging from it. I then looked at the label and it expired one year ago. I know I am stupid, but I really need to know if this could hurt me so please answer back quickly thank you.Ate expired dashi stock please help!?

it can't hurt you if it's been refrigerated. just drink lots of water to flush out anything that might hurt you. good luck.
