What is the best train to take from Trenton to the electric zoo festival held at Randall's island park?

i need to know what train to take to the electric zoo festival before i book it|||My friend, there is not direct train service to the Randall's Island from Trenton, NJ. Therefore, you will need to make multiple changes in order to get from there to Randall's Island. Here's how to get from Trenton to Randall's Island.

Step 1: take NJ Transit's Northeast Corridor Line from Trenton to New York Penn Station. The one way fare on the NJ Transit from Trenton to NYC will cost you $12.50. If you traveling during the off peak hours, the round trip will cost you just $21.50. Please purchase your ticket before board, because fares are higher aboard.

Step 2: once in New York City, transfer to the New York City subway. Take the uptown (northbound) "E" train (Blue Line on the subway map) from Penn Station Lexington Avenue/53rd Street.

Step 3: at Lexington Avenue/53rd Street, transfer upstairs to the uptown (northbound) #6 train (Green Line). Take the uptown #6 train from 51st Street to 125th Street.

The fare on the subway is $2.25 one way ($4.50 round trip). The transfer between subway lines are free.

Step 4: at 125th Street, exit the subway and transfer a special shuttle bus that will take from Lexington Avenue and 125th Street to Randall's Island. The bus number is X80 and its located at the northwest corner of 125th and Lexington Avenue. The transfer between the subway and bus is free with your MetroCard.

I hope this information is very helpful. If you have any questions or need travel directions while in town, just drop me a line by clicking on the avatar and e-mail icon in the profile. I'll be glad to help.

Good luck
