Will This Diet Help Me Lose Weight?

breakfast: 1/2 grapefruit, smoothie made of: 8 strawberries, 1 banana, 1 Cup unsweetened soymilk, 1/2 serving of genisoy protein powder





lunch: soup made of: 1 tsp vegetable soup base, 1 1/2-2 Cups water, 3 stalks celery, 8 baby carrots, 1/2 Cup textured vegetable protein, 16 oz crystal light green tea





snack: 1/4 red bell pepper, 1/2 Cup broccoli, 1 stalk celery, 2 Tbsp original hummus, 1 orange. 1/2 serving of soy protein powder mixed in water





dinner: 1 Cup romaine, 1 boca burger, 1/2 Cup black beans





because i'm a vegan, i'll be taking a multivitamin, b21 supplement and a calcium + vitamin D supplement every morning. and i'll be drinking around 64 oz of water each day.





i'll be doing at least 45 minutes of cardio and 15 minutes of weight training every day, too.





is this diet healthy? how much weight will i lose? is there anything that needs to be added/taken away?





thanks in advance. y'all are loved.|||Yes you will lose weight but it's a bit lacking in terms of health. You have an excellent fruit and veg intake but you need at least 3 servings of wholegrain carbs per day. It's a myth that these make you gain weight and they're essential for regulating your cholesterol. Cutting them out can damage your heart and will also make you more likely to feel hungry throughout the day. Have a couple of slices of wholegrain bread with your soup at lunch and perhaps a jacket potato for dinner. You're only talking an extra couple of hundred calories so it won't make your diet any less effective. Good luck.


PS- Are you a princess? X|||one of the better and well thought out diets i,ve seen on here. you might want to go to 1200 calories to avoid fatigue.|||Excellent, I'd boost your calorie intake to around 1500 though. You really have a firm grasp on eating right. Get some exercise regularly and don't cut those calories too low. You should be a happy girl by the end of this year.
