Recipe for chip shop curry?

Hi, I would like to know if there is a recipe to get this curry, spot on.

it is the curry you get in chips shops in the uk, but I will not buy it because it contains MSG and all sorts of other dodgy stuff.

modified maize starch, wheat flour, sugar, salt, rapeseed oil, dried onion, textured vegetable protein, hydrolysed vegetable protein, dried apple, tomato powder, coriander, tumeric powder, tumeric extract, fenugreek, ground pea, mustard flour, chilli powder, ginger, ground dill seed, ground fennel seed, cumin, garlic powder, monosodium glutamate, maltodextrin.|||Ingredients -

1 Medium Onion

1 Medium Apple

1 Tablespoon Curry powder

2 Tablespoon Oil

2 Tablespoon Plain flour

600 ml Water (1 pint)

1 Tablespoon Tomato pur茅e

Lemon juice

Salt and pepper

Method -

Chop the onion and apple and fry with the curry powder in the oil until tender.

Stir in the flour, cook for 2 minutes and then remove from the heat and add the water, tomato pur茅e, salt, pepper and lemon juice to taste.

Simmer for 15 minutes.|||One of the nearest flavours i'v ever had is a tin of Homepride curry sauce. Lush! Needs more chunks in it but please try it once, enjoy.|||It is easy to make your own, but most people can't be bothered and use Bisto curry granules.
