TVP is a filler used in vegetarian diets (it has a meat texture). It doesn't really have a taste, but it takes on the taste of the seasoning that you put with it. You can buy it in health food stores or in the organic food section of your grocery store.|||To add to the above answer it is a dried product usually sold in plastic bags - just to help you find it. If you are new to being a vegetarian this is a classic meat subsitute but there are better ones that can be found in the frozen food section of most grocery stores now.
